Appointments

Please call (334) 297-7100 to schedule an appointment. Our office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday. If you reach our office after hours you may leave your name and telephone number and we will return your call the next business day.

If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. If you have an after-hours emergency, you can reach our doctors by calling the office and leaving a voice message as directed. The doctor will then be paged and return your call as soon as possible.

We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your wait. Because we constantly treat emergency problems, unexpected delays may arise. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

We ask that you read this and consider it carefully to reduce the chance of misunderstandings that may hinder your visit to our office.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will attempt to call in advance to receive verbal confirmation that you intend to keep your appointment(s). If we are unable to reach you due to insufficient phone numbers, the appointment could possibly be booked over. Please be advised it is your responsibility to update all current personal information with our office as we have many patients and it is too time-consuming to attempt to track down patients.

We reserve specific chair time for each patient(s) scheduling an appointment, and our income is based entirely on the hours we see patients. If someone cancels late or misses an appointment, we incur a loss of income for that time and are not able to offer that time to someone who may be waiting, possibly in crisis. Therefore, we must have an agreement that the appointment will be kept.

Dentist Appointment Reminder

Regardless of the cause, our office requires a minimum of a 24-hour notice on cancellation in order to release you from your responsibility for that time scheduled. You will be billed a minimum of $40 fee for late cancellations and missed appointments. This fee increases for any major work or work that has been coordinated with another office. Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for canceled appointments.

For our patient’s convenience, we have a 24-hour voicemail in which patients have every opportunity to leave us a voicemail if there is a need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. However, calling our office after hours to cancel an appointment that is less than 24-hours away does not constitute adequate notice.

New patients that fail their first appointment will not be rescheduled and current patients that fail two (2) scheduled appointments will be dismissed from our practice. Please do not schedule an appointment if there are no intentions of keeping it.

We apologize for any inconvenience. However, this has become necessary due to so many missed appointments by patients.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • All medical history information
  • A list of medications you are presently taking
  • Current Insurance Information

Also, bring any Completed Paperwork that you may have printed prior to the appointment.

If you have dental insurance, please provide the information prior to your visit so that we may verify your benefits beforehand and lessen your wait time. This will save time and allow us to help you in the processing of your claim.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
